Reiki 1

Reiki 1 is the first level of Reiki, it is used for hands on contact with a person, plant, animal, food, in fact anything at all. Reiki One is suitable for everyone and is wonderful as a self healing tool.

Each person feels the energy in a different way. It is always a deeply personal and unique experience. All you need is to have the intention to heal, relax, and allow the energy to flow.

Attunements Process
Attunements are carried out in pairs and are held on a Sunday from 11am to 7pm, with an hour for lunch which is provided.

During the Attunement process, the student will sit on a chair with their eyes closed and may drift off into a light meditative state. They may also experience a slight emotional release. The experience differs from person to person as it is a very personal and enlightening process. The process itself is passed down from Master to Master and takes around 10-15minuites.

Preparations
One week prior to the Attunements, you will receive your Reiki Manual to read through and, acclimatise yourself with some of the terminology. During this period, you may notice energy changes within such as:

Headaches

Sleeplessness

Happiness

Change in food tastes.

Sadness

Aches and pains

Mild cold symptoms

Energy bursts

So, it is best to try and De-tox as much as possible; this will lessen the cleansing process after the Attunements.

Things to avoid or cut down on to de-tox are: Red meat, caffeine, alcohol, drugs and starchy foods. Drink plenty of fresh water to help with the cleansing.
