I met Maria by chance (or not, as Maria would say) through a friend of hers whom I had found on a web site offering face to face tarot readings – I had spent ages trying to find someone who would do this for me.

I was at a point in my life where I needed some direction and was just getting over the break up of a relationship. I met Maria one evening in early Dec 2004 and she gave me the most wonderful reading. There was so much in there that was scarily true that nobody could have known about. She didn’t ask why I was there but asked me to think about what I wanted to know when I shuffled the cards. I left feeling elated and was able to take control of my life again. It was as though she clarified for me exactly what I needed to hear at that time.

Maria had mentioned to me when I had the reading that I had strong psychic abilities and that I should join a course that would allow me to strengthen and develop them. I asked if she taught classes and she said she did but wouldn’t be running a course for a few months, I asked her to let me know when she decided to run one again as I was at work full time as well as doing a University course at that point.

I finished my University course and the day after, Maria’s course in ‘Spiritual Awareness’ started! In stark contrast I went from studying for my professional qualifications to learning about energies, auras and protection and then tarot reading, crystals and scrying, things I had always had an interest in but being taught properly was fantastic. There was a small group of us who became good friends and although we all had our reasons for being there it felt like I was totally appreciated and understood.

In terms of the cost of the course and what you actually receive in terms of the hours spent teaching and preparations Maria makes for you its worth every penny and more. And in terms of what I personally received from taking the course – it’s almost impossible to put into words. Amazing hardly does it credit!  I felt like the other, hidden part of who I am had been finally brought to light.

I went on to complete the Meditation course too, which was perfect as a follow up to the Spiritual Awareness course. It’s a great opportunity to test your new found skills and also meditate with Maria and her ‘spirit friends’ who also helped us along the way. You discover so much about yourself and how to deal with things when you meditate.

I am waiting to start a new course with Maria in the New Year and can’t wait to find out what my new lessons are. From the previous courses and readings since, I have found I enjoy healing the most and Reiki holds a strong fascination for me.

I feel very lucky to have met Maria. I have known a few different Spiritual Teachers and have attended Buddhist Centres and other Holistic Groups but none of them had given me exactly what I was looking for and I felt that I would have to sacrifice large parts of who I am and what I believed in to be able to enjoy Spiritualism (to give it a term).

Maria was the first person I met who made me feel I could use my strengths and the person I am to develop, opposed to changing myself and that felt right to me. She also has an energy and aura that is incredibly strong and enlightening. I always feel that Maria wants the best for people and humanity in general and is prepared to give all she can to help people like me to help others. She is a truly gifted teacher and healer.

I still go to Maria for readings and Reiki, and leave her home afterwards feeling like someone has given my soul its energy back. I have also recommended her to friends who have returned again and again to receive her healing and teachings.

Maria is our very own High Priestess.
